Theme: Exploring non-judgment in practice
This will be a practice, reflection, and discussion on the feelings and sensations we experience when judging, how we can more readily notice our tendency to do this, and how we can balance this tendency and work toward developing discernment.
Teacher: Jeffrey Zahn
Jeffrey Zahn, MD is a Qualified MBSR Instructor through Brown University. In 2014 he published Choose Happiness! A Guide to Practical Perspectivlsm and Happy Daily Living, describing Practical Perspectivism, an applied philosophy declaring we each have the capacity to choose, and are responsible for, our own emotional state. Jeff is also a former Mount Sinai Obstetric Anesthesiologist and current System Vice Chair for Physician Well-being in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai in New York City.
