November Theme: Finding rest in the holiday season -moments of gratitude and joy in a suffering world
Please join other MBSR graduates to experiment with practices that explore pleasant moments. We will look at feeling tones, at what feels pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral. We will also explore the many ways that mindfulness strengthens awareness of the small joys in everyday life. Some of these are very short practices, useful anytime, anywhere--and especially helpful during a busy holiday season.
Teacher: Katie Crum
Katie is a certified MBSR teacher who has been offering the cuorse for 11 years. She has a special interest in mindfulness practices for teens and young adults. Her initial training in meditation came from the Zen tradition, and she is also a longtime student of Iyengar yoga.
