Get support in maintaining or deepening your mindfulness practice and explore opportunities to cultivate mindfulness in everyday life. Re-connect with friends and meet others who are bringing these practices into their lives. Themes change every month, and teachers rotate.

Dates: Every 3rd Sunday of the Month, from 5:30 to 7:30pm

Suggested donation is $20, no one will be turned away.

June Theme: Freedom from the Inner Critic: A Mindfulness Approach

Who doesn’t have those pesky critical voices badgering them from time to time? A common approach is to ignore, try to replace, or push away, but (maybe you’ve noticed) they often come back even stronger.

What if it turned out they’re actually well-intentioned (once we get to know them a little better with gentle curiosity) and we can befriend them for the greater good—Who knew?!

Join us for this light-hearted exploration of our critical parts. Class will include meditation, gentle movement, guided journaling, and discussion.

Teachers: Beej Christie Karpen & Dr. Douglas Scherer

Donations: Class is offered by donation to support The West Side Campaign Against Hunger https://www.wscah.org. Suggested donation is $20. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
