December 19th 2021 : “Meeting each moment with awareness”

Each day is an opportunity to bring awareness to the tasks of the day and the transitions in between. There is the chance to explore what is happening in this moment, the next and each succeeding moment. Examining closely what is present whether it is pleasant, unpleasant or not much to notice. We will join together to practice movement and some stillness to drop into this space of awareness and knowing.

Jess Ergener has offered yoga, meditation and lovingkindness practices in yoga studios, schools, Gilda's Club and private homes to students of all ages. Jess hopes to make gentle movement and mindfulness practices accessible to students to foster self care as well as self-awareness as we navigate our daily experiences. Jess has received training in Structural yoga, Restorative yoga with Jillian Pransky, Mindful Schools, Lovingkindness & Compassion Meditation Teacher Training program (The Interdependence Project), and Open Heart Project Meditation Instructor Training with Susan Piver and Jenna Hollenstein as well as MBSR training through The Mindfulness Center at Brown.

Donations: Class is offered by donation to support New York Insight Meditation Center . Suggested donation is $20. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
